TEHRAN - Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Ali Akbar Salehi rejected on Wednesday claims that Iran had agreed to destroy the core of the Arak reactor and fill it with concrete.

He said that U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry was “mistaken” when he said the core of the Arak reactor will be removed and destroyed.

Earlier, Kerry had said “relief of sanctions will only start when Tehran has met the commitments of this nuclear agreement,” including the removal and destruction of the Arak nuclear reactor core.
